Neritina Pulligera, or commonly called Military Helmet, Black Helmet.

Activity: It is a relatively slow-moving and peaceful snail, often seen slowly traversing the aquarium surfaces as it feeds.

Appearance: High, rounded shell resembling a military helmet; colors vary from black to brown with light spots.

Size: About 1 to 1.5 inches (2.5 to 4 cm) in diameter.

Diet: Primarily eats algae; can also take algae wafers or spirulina tablets if algae is limited.

Behavior: Slow-moving and peaceful; excellent algae grazer.

Compatibility: Generally safe with most fish and invertebrates; avoid aggressive species.

Breeding: Requires brackish conditions to breed; won’t reproduce in typical freshwater setups.
