This species is best kept in groups, but a pair can still thrive in a well-maintained tank. They are sensitive to water quality, so regular water changes and good filtration are essential. Their diet should consist of high-quality micro-pellets, flakes, and small live or frozen foods like daphnia or brine shrimp.
