Size: The fish in question is 1.25 to 1.5 inches (3-4 cm) in length. While this is a juvenile size, the Calvus Cichlid can grow up to 4-6 inches (10-15 cm) when fully mature.

Water Conditions: The Calvus Cichlid prefers water temperatures between 74-82°F (23-28°C) with a pH range of 7.8 to 9.0. It thrives in hard, alkaline water that mimics the conditions of its natural habitat.

Substrate and Decor: A substrate of sand or fine gravel is ideal, as it allows the Calvus Cichlid to dig and explore. The tank should be well-decorated with plenty of rocks, caves, and other hiding spots to provide shelter and simulate its natural environment.

Feeding: The Calvus Cichlid is omnivorous and will accept a variety of foods. It thrives on high-quality cichlid pellets, supplemented with live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia. Offering a mix of protein and vegetable matter ensures a balanced diet.
