Rs. 450.00 Rs. 650.00

Description

Product Description:

The Bristlenose Pleco, also known as the Ancistrus or Bristlenose Catfish, is a popular freshwater aquarium fish prized for its unique appearance and helpful algae-eating abilities.

Temperament: They are generally peaceful and can coexist with other non-aggressive fish. However, they are territorial, especially during breeding.

Habitat: They prefer tanks with plenty of hiding spots like caves, driftwood, and plants. This helps them feel secure and reduces stress.

Diet: Primarily herbivorous, Bristlenose Plecos are excellent algae eaters. Their diet should be supplemented with algae wafers, fresh vegetables (such as zucchini, cucumber, and spinach), and occasional protein sources like bloodworms or brine shrimp.

Water Temperature: They prefer temperatures between 72-78°F (22-26°C).

pH: A slightly acidic to neutral pH is ideal, typically between 6.5 to 7.5.

Tank Size: While they can be kept in tanks as small as 20 gallons, larger tanks are better as they provide more space and a more stable environment.
