ADA IC055 Anubias Barteri Var. Nana Petite | TC Live Plant

Rs. 250.00 Rs. 450.00

Description

Product Description:

The Petite Anubias is often regarded as identical with Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai'. However, under the same growth conditions, its leaves get a little larger while the 'Bonsai' is indistinguishable from 'Mini Mini'. The "Petite-Nana" has considerably smaller leaves than standard A.

Leaves: Anubias 'Petite' features very small, dark green leaves that are typically 1 to 2 cm (0.4 to 0.8 inches) in length. The leaves are oval to heart-shaped with a smooth texture and a glossy surface.

Growth Form: This variety has a compact and dense growth habit. It forms a low, creeping clump that can spread over time.

Rhizome: The plant grows from a horizontal rhizome, which should not be buried in the substrate. The rhizome allows the plant to attach itself to hard surfaces like rocks and driftwood.

Light Requirements: Anubias 'Petite' thrives in low to moderate light conditions. It can tolerate low light levels better than many other aquarium plants, making it ideal for shaded areas in the tank.

CO2 and Nutrients: While it does not require CO2 supplementation, providing CO2 can enhance its growth. It benefits from a nutrient-rich environment but can thrive in a wide range of conditions.

Water Parameters: It prefers slightly acidic to neutral water with a pH range of 6.0 to 7.5. The ideal temperature range is 22 to 28°C (72 to 82°F).
