Rs. 250.00 Rs. 450.00

Description

Product Description:

Rotala sp. Vietnam is a tropical Asian stem plant with fine leaves and attractive colors. It is similar to Rotala wallichii, but has longer leaves and a brown-red stem. Rotala sp. Vietnam can grow vertically and produce many lateral shoots, especially if long shoots are allowed to grow along the water's surface. It can be used in the middle and background of many aquascape layouts, and is especially suited for aquascapes with many stem plants.

Size: Rotala wallichii 'Vietnam' typically grows to a height of 10-15 inches (25-38 cm).

Leaves: The leaves are fine, needle-like, and grow in whorls around the stem. They are soft and feathery, creating a delicate, bushy appearance.

Color: The color of the leaves ranges from green to pink, red, or orange, depending on the light intensity and nutrient availability. Under optimal conditions, the plant exhibits vibrant red hues.

Stems: The stems are thin and upright, with a soft texture.

Lighting: Requires high lighting to thrive and bring out its best colors. Insufficient light can lead to dull colors and poor growth.

CO2 and Nutrients: Benefits greatly from CO2 supplementation and regular fertilization. High CO2 levels and a nutrient-rich environment promote healthy growth and vibrant coloration.

Substrate: Prefers a nutrient-rich substrate, but can also absorb nutrients from the water column. A fine-grained substrate is ideal for anchoring its delicate roots.

Water Parameters: Prefers slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0-7.0) and soft to moderately hard water. The ideal temperature range is 72-82°F (22-28°C).
